Nigerians and the flying public now have an opportunity to fly directly from Lagos to London Gatwick using a Nigerian flag carrier as Air Peace airlines has announced it will begin direct flights from Lagos to London Gatwick from March 30, 2024.
Air Peace announced this development on their X handle on Tuesday. The statement reads: “Are you ready for that bespoke flygerian experience in the skies? Our London launch is getting closer- March 30, 2024- marking a historic entry into the European continent.”
The route will be operated five times weekly with the airline’s 777-200 aircraft otherwise known as “triple seven.”
According to the airline, flight P47578 is scheduled to depart Lagos at 00:10, and get into London Gatwick at 06:40.
Flight P47579 from London Gatwick is scheduled to leave at 11:10 and land at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos at 17:40.
